That’s why we support programmes that harness the power of sports, arts, and creativity, and ensure accessibility for young people with disabilities. For example, our collaboration with the Outplay Sports Foundation engages teens between ages 12 and 20 in design workshops, art classes, and team sports—all environments that teach collaboration, self-esteem, and healthy competition 1win.charity.
Our commitment is to build pathways—not just for today’s enjoyment, but for tomorrow’s success. By partnering with organizations like the Cricket Association for the Blind in Delhi and the Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy, charity 1win helps young athletes with disabilities thrive, with support tailored to their needs. We equip them not only with equipment but with belief: that they too belong in the fold of opportunity and community.
Our “Light for over 1,000 People across Dharavi” campaign stands as a defining moment in the journey of charity 1win. In Dharavi—the heart of Mumbai’s sprawling slums—reliable electricity can be a dream out of reach. A simple power cut can plunge entire households into darkness, disrupting children’s studies, halting evening chores, and risking safety. Recognizing this, we distributed more than 1,000 portable solar lamps directly to homes and placed additional lamps in communal corridors and narrow lanes—transforming nightly uncertainty into light-filled hope.
We didn’t stop there. 250 families received carefully assembled food packages to ease the burden of limited access to groceries. Parents told us their evenings became productive: moms could cook safely, dads could plan for the week, and children could study or play—long past sunset. Their words capture our vision perfectly: “Children can study and play even after dark.” This was more than distribution. It was a message: we care deeply, and we stand with them.
Our mission encompasses both public health and environmental stewardship—we believe caring for the planet and the people go hand in hand. In Nigeria, through the PWE (Plastic Waste Exchange) Project in Ibadan, we teamed up with Recycledge to convert plastic bottles into real-world value: participants brought plastic in and received vouchers, groceries, gifts—even cash, depending on the volume recycled. The project launched on December 28, 2024, at a local school and quickly expanded—going beyond environmental cleanup to foster educational outreach and community participation through games and family-focused events.
Simultaneously, in several locations, we held free screenings for diabetes and hypertension, offering health check-ups to thousands who might otherwise lack access to early diagnosis or preventive care. We believe good health is not a privilege—it’s a right.
